Frequently Asked Questions

Here, we focus a lot less on technique and spend more time in play. Kids will not be told what to say or how to move but instead we will pull ideas that come from inside of them to create all our theatrical adventures, songs and dances!

Your first Rabbit Hole class is on us! Please email us at info@therabbitholesf.com and let us know that you’d like to try out a class. We will need to know which class and the name of your little one.Due to the preparation involved with putting on our classes please do not show up to a class without first letting us know you will be visiting us.

If you’d like to join the session but missed some classes we are happy to prorate. However please DO NOT buy the whole session and then ask for a refund for the missed classes. Simply email us with the class you’d like to join and we will email you a private invoice prorated for the remainder of the session.

We are incredibly thankful for all of the support given by the community to our local, small business.  Due to nature of our business and it’s smaller size we are not able to offer refunds once something has been purchased. However, if you are unable to attend a purchased activity, you will receive a full credit, redeemable for up to one year from the purchase date towards any future Rabbit Hole activity. Expectations can be made under certain extreme circumstances for refunds.

Parents are welcome to stay for classes and or playgroups, but, we kindly ask that you wait in our designated parents’ area. After-school clubs and day camps are drop off. There will be a show at the end of the session or camp for parents to enjoy!

Only street parking is available. Certain times of day can be tricky, so please plan ahead. Additionally, please DO NOT park in front of our neighbor’s driveway and or the bus stop.

All clothes should be something your kids can move around in but most importantly something they feel empowered in! Costumes are always welcome. In ballet class lots of kids wear leotards and ballet shoes, however, they are not required. Please note that for camps we do lots of painting so don’t send kids in clothes that aren’t allowed to get messy!

We work hard to make sure kids feel the freedom to dress up and be anything they like to be. We have lots of dresses, super hero costumes, animal costumes, capes,  and firefighter outfits but we don’t divide things into a girl or boy section. We move away from any language that categorizes kids and encourage them to wear whatever sparks their curiosity.

You can find us during our camp days at either Noe Valley Courts or Douglass Park. If we have more then 5 kids we wear matching green shirts every time we go outside. We will always leave a note on the door indicating where we have ventured off to.

If your child suffers any allergies you must let staff know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. We are a NUT FREE STUDIO and we do our best to keep the studio allergy free, but, please let us know if your child is allergic or uses an Epipen. Our staff is CPR certified.

We offer one teacher for every six kids in camp.
The Rabbit Hole is a super creative team filled with actors, artists, dancers and musicians that have a history of working with children. All staff is background checked and CPR certified before they can teach.
